We are looking for sponsorship partners who can help bring our dream to fruition! For corporate donors, we would be more than happy to promote your brand or company in our blogging/twittering, as well as promote you in any interview opportunities that come up during the course of our trip. For private donors, we would be happy to assist with any project of your choosing, depending on logistics.
We want to be as mobile as possible, living lightly while being on the road for the next couple of years.
Fiscal Sponsorship: The scope of our project is not large enough for us to warrant becoming a non-profit ourselves, so we are looking for a fiscal sponsor that can take donations on our behalf.
Camping Trailer: Our ideal camping trailer would be small and lightweight tow-able (helping reduce fuel costs) still being large enough to accommodate our lives for the next couple of years, so it’s important that it have a bed, kitchen area, bathroom, and hopefully some sort of separate living/office area as well.
Tow Vehicle: We would like a small SUV or light truck that would be capable of hauling a camping trailer, and act as our primary transportation while we’re on our assignments. In order to help keep expenses down during the trip, we’d like something fuel efficient, and possibly diesel-powered so that we can modify it if necessary. If you own any of the above and would be willing to part with it for up to two years, we would return your donation in excellent condition at the end of our trip.
Funding: We hope to do this trip frugally, though we are going to need funding for fuel, food, campsites, maintenance and insurance. Any donations you are able to make will make our trip that much better!
